Newcastle Jets are pleased to announce the signing of young midfielder Kosta Grozos for the upcoming A-League Season.
The Australian U-20’s representative officially joins the Club from Western Sydney Wanderers after successfully trialling throughout the pre-season.
The 21-year-old has already played seven games in the A-League at his former club and before that, was highly successful in the youth divisions winning the Wanderers’ NPL Player of the Year award and helping the side win the Y-League in 2018.
Manager, Arthur Papas said; “Kosta has been with us since the beginning of pre-season and has consistently kept improving and has fitted in well to the dynamic of the group.
“I’m convinced that Kosta is yet to reach his ceiling and our environment can provide him an opportunity to develop his game because he possesses the qualities to play a key role moving forward.”

Grozos said; “After speaking with the coaches and players, I was confident this is the best place to develop my game.”
