Newcastle Jets are pleased to welcome striker Beka Mikeltadze to the Club on a two-year-deal.
The Georgian International attacking ace joins the Jets from Greek club Xanthi.
According to Jets Manager, Arthur Papas, the 23-year-old brings a physical presence up front and is quite the coup for the Club with several teams competing to land his signature.
“We are excited to secure the signing of Beka Mikeltadze,” Papas said.

“He is a player we identified at the beginning of our recruitment process and is a player we feel fits very well into our system of play.
“He is at an age where he is only going to improve, has plenty to offer both in attacking and defending and we are looking forward to welcoming him to Newcastle very soon.”
Mikeltadze began his senior career with FC Zestafoni before moving to Georgian powerhouse Dinamo Tbilisi where he established himself.
Having also played in the Russian Premier League, Mikeltadze made the move to Greece where he played for Xanthi FC.
Heading into his seventh professional season, the forward has 130 league games under his belt and has represented the Georgian National Team at all levels.
