The Newcastle Jets are delighted to confirm that goalkeeper Ally Boertje has re-signed with the Club for the 2026/27 Ninja A-League season
Boertje has spent the last two seasons with the Club, making two appearances last season in the A-League. Ally has also been a mainstay in the Youth Team, having played 22 games this year as they reached the Football NSW league one grand final, including a dominant semi-final performance in which she saved four penalties.
A-League Women’s Head Coach Stephen Hoyle is excited to have Boertje back,
“Ally earned her A-League debut at the end of last season and performed well across those two appearances. She’s an explosive athlete who’s coming off a strong academy season, and we’re excited to see her continue developing within our A-League environment.”
Ally is thrilled to re-sign with her hometown club,
“I am very honoured to be continuing my journey at the Jets for this up coming season. After last year and making my debut I am very eager to try and play a few more games this season. I am excited to meet the new team and have another amazing year.”
