Jets have appointed a new apparel supplier and are in the process of fine-tuning the designs of new Home and Away kits for the Hyundai A-League Season 2011/2012.
With new FFA licensing guidelines in place for next season, Hyundai A-League clubs are required to select their own apparel supplier. The Jets have wasted no time in securing an industry heavyweight with experience in English Football League, AFL, NRL and UK Super League as our preferred supplier.
In conjunction with our new apparel supplier, Jets Management are in the process of fine-tuning the designs of new Home and Away kits for the Hyundai A-League Season 2011/2012.
The Home strip will feature Newcastle-s recognised colours of Red and Blue while honouring the Jets 6-year A-League heritage with Gold detail. The Football Club Advisory Board in consultation with Seniors Players have also selected a Black and White Away strip, the traditional colours of Football in Northern NSW.
Our first designs of these strips are with the FFA for consideration.
It is the policy of the Tinkler Sports Group that all Sporting Teams under the TSG umbrella will have consistent colours starting with the Jets next season.
Jets supporters should be assured that in the future, in line with the policy that the Tinkler Sports Group has offered Newcastle Knights fans, Members approval will be required to change the team name, colours, location or home ground.
By reverting to both the Club and the Regions recognised colours we hope to not only mark the start of an exciting new period for the club but also pay homage to the Region-s strong Football heritage.
