The Newcastle Jets have passed the 7,000 mark in their quest to achieve their goal of 11,000 Members for next season.
The Hunter Ports Newcastle Jets have passed the 7,000 mark in their quest to achieve their goal of 11,000 Members for the 2012/13 A-League season.
Jets number seven James Brown said it was fantastic to see so many Members have already taken the opportunity to renew.
“We-ve still got a while to go before the season and to see the Newcastle community to get behind the team like they have is really good,” he said.
“We-ve signed a good squad for this season and I think we-re going to play some good football.
“I urge all the supporters out there to get amongst it and become Members because it-s a big thing we-re building here.”
Brown said he was looking forward to playing in front of the Jets faithful who had the third highest average attendance and second-largest Membership base in the A-League last season.
“Obviously at the Gold Coast our crowds were quite small and for me personally I actually enjoyed playing some away games to have that opportunity to play in front of more people,” he said.
“So to play in front of a big number of our Members and supporters this season is going to give us all a big push and on a personal level I-m really excited about it.”
The 2012/13 Membership packages offer exceptional value and remain at the same affordable price as last season, with a Community Reserved Membership starting at as little as $115 for an Adult, $60 for a Child and $260 for Families.
Those who make the Membership commitment can look forward to some fantastic inclusions, including access to all 13 Jets home games, an exclusive Member cap and blister pack containing a 2012/13 Member lanyard, keyring, sticker sheet and magnetic fixture.
With over 10,000 Members last season, the Jets achieved the second highest Membership in the A-League and this year are targeting 11,000 Members with this year-s “Every Goal Matters- campaign.
