Newcastle born Virgili has played youth football and now senior football with the Jets. “Chilli” as he is known, made his debut in 2009 at age 16, making him the youngest player in A-League history to debut. Virgili was another Jets player who had their best A-League season to date in 2012/13, making 25 appearances. Virgili made 10 apperances for the Jets during the 2013/14 Hyundai A-League season. Virgili is very quick and a direct young winger, who has pace than can trouble any defence.
