Free entry for Play-off match after move to McDonald Jones Stadium

Fans will be able to watch our upcoming Australia Cup Play-off match against Perth Glory free of charge on Thursday night after it was confirmed the game would move to McDonald Jones Stadium due to the recent wet weather experienced in Newcastle.

Originally scheduled for Jack McLaughlan Oval in Edgeworth, Football Australia made the decision in the best interests of all parties following a further pitch inspection, taking into consideration the travel plans of the competing teams, and the ongoing wet weather forecast for the next 48 hours.

Due to the late change of venue, the Club are pleased to confirm that entry to the game will be free with restricted bays exclusively for Club Members. Gates will open at 6.45pm.

While it’s disappointing we cannot play at a community ground, we’d like to thank Edgeworth Eagles for their support and look forward to returning to Jack McLaughlan Oval sometime in the near future.

The match can also be watched live via 10Play.
