Newcastle Jets are pleased to confirm that striker Alexis Collins has re-signed with the Club for the next two seasons.
Collins, a new Newcastle local, climbed her way through the Jet’s Academy grades before making her Ninja A-League debut in 2024 against the Western Sydney Wanderers at Cessnock Sportsground. Collins has made 21 appearances in total for the Club.
Collins said.
“I’m happy to be re-signing with the Jets. I had a great time playing last season but I know I have much more I can give and I want to help this team have a stronger season than the last one. I can’t wait to get into the season and give it my all for the team and Newcastle’s Members and fans.”
Newcastle Jets Head Coach Stephen Hoyle said.
“Alexis is a player I believe has significant upside and tremendous potential. She gives us genuine athleticism, the ability to threaten in behind, and the strength to hold the ball up and connect play with her teammates.
She is committed to improving every day, and has all the attributes to become an important contributor throughout the season.
