The Newcastle Jets have surpassed 5,000 Members in less than a month since the 2011/12 Memberships went on sale.
Former Jets captain and now HSG Business Development Manager Michael Bridges yesterday met with the Stewart family, who tipped the tally over the 5,000 mark when they signed up for a Family Membership.
“It is great that in the first month of our Membership going on sale, we have reached our half way point,” Bridges said.
“We thank the Stewart family for helping us reach this milestone and thank all our Members that have joined up to date.
“We have a lot of work ahead of us as we strive to reach our 10,000 Member target.”
The Stewart family; dad Joe, mum Vicki, Jeremy, (7) Tim (11) and Nicholas (13) secured their Jets Community Reserved Membership and are looking forward to the new season.
“The family is football mad, the children play for the New Lambton Football Club and enjoy watching the Jets over the summer,” Joe said.
Jets Membership packages have been selling well but the Membership Department say there are still plenty of great options available for Members wishing to sign up.
“We have secured the most affordable Memberships for our supporters and also introduced the part payment plan, all in an effort to make the decision to sign up as a Member an easier one,” said Katie Kelly, HSG Membership Manager.
“We have received plenty of great feedback about our Membership options and look forward to spending the twilight months with our Members.”
A friendly reminder for all existing Members, August 5 is the cut off to retain existing seat allocations.
