Greater Bank has joined forces with the Newcastle Jets as the Club’s Community Partner, with the aim of helping to connect the Jets with the Northern NSW community.
Jets:CONNECT fuelled by Greater Bank is broken down into three key components, allowing both organisations to support the communities that support them.
The Jets are committed to a minimum of 20 Jets:LEARN primary school visits across Newcastle, the Hunter and regional NSW each year. These visits are all about giving young aspiring footballers the chance to meet with and learn from their local Isuzu A-League Men’s and Liberty A-League Women’s heroes.
As part of our commitment to genuinely helping the community, the Jets and Greater Bank support Jets:PLAY, facilitating a minimum of seven public coaching clinics from the Jets. These clinics are completely free, giving everybody the opportunity to learn from professional players.
Each year Greater Bank take the Jets on a pre-season tour as part of Jets:TOUR to NSW regional areas. As well as broadening the team’s fan base, it gives those residents who don’t have the chance to regularly see the players in action the opportunity to see them up-close and personal.
