Learn FOOTBALL skills from your Jets heroes online! A program that sees the Newcastle Jets A-League Men’s and Women’s squads visit 20 schools across the Hunter each year, the Jets:LEARN program fuelled by Greater Bank helps to connect the Club and thousands of school students across the region.
The Jets:LEARN program is a 4 week program aligned to the PDHPE curriculum, comprised of one 45 minute lesson per week. It kicks off with a welcome video from the Jets players. Each lesson features skills and fitness exercises as well as a final ‘challenge’.
20 lucky schools that register will get a bonus Week 5 session that includes a physical visit (or Zoom visit for schools based regionally) from players from our A-League Men’s or Women’s squads, PLUS a free Greater Bank sports pack including:
- 10 x soccer balls for school to keep (size 5)
- 30 x mini size 1 balls for students to keep
- Lesson plans for the teachers
- Worksheet for the class to track their challenges
