The Newcastle Jets are throwing their support behind McDonalds and the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) by participating in McHappy Day this Saturday (17 November) – digging deep to help put a smile on the face of seriously ill children and their families.
Players will be heading to stores around Newcastle, selling Big Macs, silly socks and helping hands to raise much need funds for RMHC Australia.
W-LEAGUE: Round 3 clash with Canberra
The largest fundraiser for RMHC Australia, McHappy Day is a crucial fundraiser, helping keep families together while their sick or injured child undergoes treatment.
RMHC is an independent charity that provides a ‘home away from home’ for families of seriously ill children being treated at nearby hospitals.
Other support services offered by RMHC include Family Rooms and The Ronald McDonald Family Retreat and Ronald McDonald Learning Program.
So if you’re planning on buying a Big Mac tomorrow, head to one of the following stores between 12pm – 1pm.
