Ernie Merrick and his players will be fresh from their tour of Spain, travelling direct to the Gold Coast despite the Club’s request for a later fixture.
Captain, Nigel Boogaard remains unavailable following a knock during a pre-season friendly against Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai FC.
Nick Cowburn is also unavailable, as he recovers from a lower leg injury sustained in last month’s Super Champions Cup in Haikou.
Noah James will replace the recently departed Jack Duncan, with the young gloveman to deputise for the experienced Glen Moss.
