The Jets’ Member Advisory Group is calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) as we approach the 2017/18 Hyundai A-League season.

The committee is home to a range of Jets members, who meet every two months on a week night – ensuring our diverse community of fans are equally represented throughout the season.

The eight-member panel consult with club on key issues including match-day activation, membership entitlements and communication.

Jets CEO, Lawrie McKinna said the Member Advisory Group was vital to ensuring the club remained connected with it’s members.

“The committee discuss a range of topics, provide feedback on new initiatives or ask questions of the club – they’re a great sounding board as we strive to improve our member experience,” said McKinna.

“They’re a passionate group of fans and we appreciate the contribution they continue to make to the Jets.”

Member Advisory Committee member, David Keating said his involvement in the committee was a great way to contribute to his local A-League club.

“It’s great to be able to act as a voice between the club and its membership and it’s rewarding to be able to help the Jets achieve success,” said Mr Keating.

“Since its inception 3 years ago, the committee have worked with the club to improve member match-day experience in a number of ways.

“Initiatives including Kids on the Field, member discounts on stadium food, The Wingman match-day program and reciprocal ticketing arrangements with the Mainers are just some of the committee’s ideas the club has adopted and implemented.

“We’re always happy to speak with any member or fan about their concerns and raise these issues with the club at our regular meetings, I’ve enjoyed the opportunity to represent members regarding match-day and membership suggestions, concerns or feedback.”

“It’s satisfying to see the impact the committee and the Jets have been really receptive to our involvement. It’s nice to see them actively engaging with their member base.

“I’d encourage members who want to represent the membership base to consider expressing an interest, because it’s been a rewarding experience.”
