The occasion, the Jet-s Kirstyn Pearce celebrating her 18th birthday on September 16…and her second season with the Westfield W-League Jets.
Pearce, a Grand Finalist this season in the Herald Women-s Premier League competition-s Cardiff City side, is looking forward to Season 2 of the Westfield W-League.
Whilst turning 18 provides a number of ‘alternative opportunities- to training, Pearce is focused on putting all her effort into seeing the Jet-s move beyond their semi final finish in Season 1 and making it all the way to the Grand Final.
‘It was a great atmosphere at EnergyAustralia Stadium on the day of the Semi against Canberra and I want to experience that again but this time, we-d like to go all the way,- Pearce said. ‘We-re putting together a great bunch of girls and Sully is a great coach, so I-m confident when the season gets underway that we can again make a genuine push for the title.-
