Any doubts about fan loyalty amongst players were soon put to bed when they emerged from the change rooms to find a long line of fans assembled on the field eager to get the signatures of their favourite players.
Fans of all ages, both young and old, were waiting patiently for the side to emerge and greeted the team with a resounding cheer and vote of support despite the Jets- loss.
Fan favourite was Jets goal scorer Tara Andrews who now appears to have a new legion of fans as a result of her impressive performance on Saturday during her starting debut in the Westfield W-League.
Also among the sought after signatures were those of Captain Hayley Crawford and Vice Captain Amber Neilson, who were more than happy to continue with the autograph session until each fan had a signed poster in hand.
