Newcastle Jets boss Mark Jones today named a preliminary 18-player squad for Saturday’s round 19
Hyundai A-League clash against Melbourne Victory at McDonald Jones Stadium.
Midfielder Steven Ugarkovic is set to return from suspension for the match, while Jones has also promoted Finnish attacker Aleksandr Kokko to his preliminary squad.
The 16 players involved in the matchday squad in last week’s 3-2 defeat to Perth Glory in Western Australia have all retained their places in Jones’ preliminary picks.
