The Jets fell behind right on the stroke of half-time, with Connor Evans finishing off a neat one-two to put the home side ahead 1-0 in the 44th minute.
Newcastle responded swiftly after the break, with striker Radovan Pavicevic creating space for himself in the box with a neat turn, before firing a shot past the Lambton goalkeeper from an acute angle to level the scores.
Koh Satake gave the Jets the lead when his free-kick from 25 metres out took a big deflection and nestled in the back of the net.
However, the Jaffas were able to equalise through Matt Kenney in the dying stages to ensure the points were shared.
