The Newcastle Jets can confirm the departure of attacker Eli Adams to an overseas Club for an undisclosed fee.
Adams had one more season remaining on his contract with the Jets however, the Club has decided that it is in the best interests of the player to pursue the overseas opportunity.
Adams joined the Jets in 2024 and made 52 appearances across all competitions, scoring 20 goals for the Club.
Newcastle Jets General Manager of Football Nigel Boogaard thanked Adams for his significant contribution to the Club.
“Eli has been a fantastic player for the Jets over the past two seasons. We are proud of the way he has developed during his time with us, and while we are disappointed to see him go, we are excited for the opportunity he now has overseas.
“We thank Eli for his contribution to the Club and wish him all the best for the next stage of his career.”
