Kosta Grozos has been named as Captain of the Newcastle Jets’ Isuzu Ute A-League squad by Head Coach Rob Stanton with Ryan Scott named as Vice-Captain.
24-year-old Grozos recently captained the Club throughout the 2024 Australia Cup campaign as well as pre-season friendlies.
Since joining the Club in 2021, the central midfielder has made 77 appearances for the Club across all competitions scoring four goals.
Newcastle Jets Head Coach Rob Stanton said.
“I’m very pleased to confirm Kosta as our Captain for the upcoming season.
Last season he led on the field, showing calmness and maturity well beyond his years. He has developed into a strong leader and he is ready for the upcoming campaign.”
