The Newcastle Jets are pleased to announce that Chloe Walandouw has signed for the Club on a scholarship deal for the 2024/25 season.
The defender re-joins Ryan Campbell’s squad after spending the 2024 NSW NPL season with the Club’s Academy side.
Walandouw was previously a member of the Jets 2022/23 side and made five appearances during the season.
The 18-year-old is excited to link up again with the Jets at A-League level.
“After working through the Academy I’m feeling grateful to have been afforded this opportunity. I’m looking forward to the challenge that the competitive environment will bring and I’m excited to give my all this season to prove to both myself and the coaches that belong at this level.”
Newcastle Jets Head Coach Ryan Campbell said.
“Chloe has worked extremely hard throughout the NPL season in our academy to earn this opportunity. Her technical ability is sound which allowed her to get the player of the season for our Academy first grade side. With a solid pre-season and all the support she can receive in our professional environment, Chloe has the potential to be a very important player for the Club moving forward.”
