Zac Bowling signs Scholarship deal

The Newcastle Jets are delighted to announce that talented young goalkeeper Zac Bowling has signed a one-year scholarship deal.

Bowling, who is a Novocastrian joined the Newcastle Jets from the age of 10, climbing his way through the Academy ranks.

Bowling who has previously played for Broadmeadow Magic in the NNSW NPL has been a crucial member of the Newcastle Jets Youth team this season as they sit on top of the NSW NPL League 2 ladder.

Bowling is eager to push himself further this season.

“I’m looking forward to continuing my career here with my hometown Club. I first started playing here when I was 10 and I love it here. I’m determined to keep improving and growing as a goalkeeper and person and I’ll keep working hard to repay the faith that Rob and his coaching staff have put in me.”

Newcastle Jets Coach Rob Stanton said.

“Zac is a tremendously talented young goalkeeper who I’m pleased to offer a Scholarship deal to. He’s an impressive young man who has all the attributes to become a top goalkeeper and I’m glad he will be a part of the A-League setup this season.”
