The Newcastle Jets will be paying tribute to first responders in this Saturday’s match against Perth Glory at McDonald Jones Stadium at 5pm.
The Newcastle Jets recognise the effort and commitment that our local heroes show and want to show their appreciation to every branch of the service.
The precinct at McDonald Jones Stadium will be packed with emergency vehicles from NSW Rural Fire Brigade, NSW Police, NSW Fire and Rescue, NSW Ambulance Service, SES and Westpac Rescue Helicopter so fans can get up close with some of the lifesaving equipment used by our service members. These are the people who run towards a crisis, and this is the perfect chance to thank them in person.
The Jets are offering $10 tickets to all first responders including police officers, firefighters, and ambulance officers who show valid identification at the match.
Once you enter the stadium, things amp up even more with players signings on the first floor, Paramount giving $1000 to the Newcastle Jet’s biggest fan and rock band Rising Power will be set up on the family hill. They will shake the seats at half time thanks to our match day sponsor Ampcontrol. After the game, families will have a chance to join us for Kids on the field. And don’t forget our Kids Go Free offer – Kids U13 can attend all Newcastle Jet’s home games this season for free!*
