Celeski joins the Jets after last playing for Liaoning Whowin in the Chinese Super League. An Australian Institute of Sport graduate, Celeski started his professional career with Perth Glory, where he played 32 matches and scored four goals. Celeski spent five seasons at Melbourne Victory between 2008 and 2013, making 91 Hyundai A-League appearances and scoring two goals. He played the 2013/14 season with Al Shaab CSC in the United Arab Emirates, before making the move to China. Celeski has represented Australia at U-20 and U-23 level and earned a senior Socceroos cap in 2009 in an AFC Asian Cup qualifying match against Indonesia. The 29-year-old was also selected in the Foxtel A-League All Stars squad for their friendly match against Manchester United in 2013.
