Newcastle Jets Head Coach Phil Stubbins has named his initial squad for Sunday’s clash with Adelaide United at Hunter Stadium.
Of the 17 players named for the round 23 test against the Reds, 15 were involved in the matchday squad last weekend when the Jets defeated Western Sydney Wanderers 2-1.
Andrew Hoole is the only out for the Club this round – he’s in Chinese Taipei with the Australian U23 team.
As a result of Hoole’s absence, there could be chances for youngsters Travis Cooper and/or Brandon Lundy to make an impression.
