Newcastle Jets Youth were defeated 3-1 by Edgeworth FC at Jack McLaughlan Oval on Saturday.
The result leaves the junior Jets in sixth place on the Northern NSW PS4 National Premier League (NPL) ladder after round eight of the season.
The next match for Peter McGuinness’ side is against Adamstown Rosebud FC on Saturday 6 June.
Rosebud are also positioned in mid-table – they’re currently one point behind Jets Youth in seventh place.
Kick-off at Adamstown Oval on Saturday is at 2:30pm.
