Newcastle Jets Youth continued their mid-season struggles in the Northern NSW PS4 National Premier League on Saturday, suffering a 2-1 defeat to Adamstown Rosebud at Adamstown Oval.
The junior Jets took the lead via Thomas Waller in the 29th minute, however goals to Garry Kenneth and Nick Hills in the 33rd and 67th minutes respectively won the points for the ‘Buds.
Peter McGuinness’ side are currently seventh in the ten-team league at the mid-way point of the season.
Jets Youth have a tough task to get themselves back on the winner’s list this Saturday when they travel to Arthur Edden Oval to take on Lambton Jaffas. The game against Lambton kicks off at 2:30pm.
Jets and Jaffas met in round 1 this NNSW PS4 NPL campaign, with Lambton securing a 3-2 win.
