  3. Bullying – Any content designed to belittle, demean, or undermine others, including players, staff, fans, or anyone associated with the club.
  4. Hateful – Posts that promote hatred or hostility based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic that makes someone vulnerable to discrimination.
  5. Racist or Discriminatory – Any racist, xenophobic, or otherwise discriminatory comments, slurs, or attitudes that are intended to marginalise or harm individuals based on their identity.
  6. Inappropriate Content – Content that is sexually explicit, excessively graphic, or otherwise inappropriate for public viewing, including illegal activity or harmful behaviour.

Our Commitment:

  • We take any instances of harmful behaviour seriously and will not hesitate to take action. This may include removing offensive content, issuing warnings, or permanently banning individuals who violate this policy.
  • The Newcastle Jets are dedicated to ensuring that our online spaces remain safe, welcoming, and inclusive for all individuals. We reserve the right to moderate all user-generated content and to take appropriate action against those who violate this policy.
  • We encourage open and healthy conversations but remind everyone to be mindful of how their words impact others. The online community is an extension of our real-world community, and we must treat each other with kindness, empathy, and respect.

Consequences of Policy Violations:

  • Offensive or harmful content may be removed without warning.
  • Individuals who engage in online abuse or hate speech may face a temporary or permanent ban from our social media channels.
  • In cases of severe misconduct, the Newcastle Jets may report the behaviour to relevant authorities or governing bodies.

Let’s work together to ensure that our social media presence reflects the positive spirit of the game and the values that we stand for.
