Xavier Bertoncello

Xavier Bertoncello came through the Jets academy, first joining at the age of 9, before becoming a member of the A-League squad ahead for the 2025/26 season. During his time in the academy, Xavier progressed through the age groups, before making his way into the Youth Team at 16 years old. Xavier dominated for the Youth Team, scoring double digits in three out of his four seasons with the team, before progressing into the A-League Squad.

2025/26 Season:

Xavier make his professional debut against Adelaide United in the Australia Cup Round of 32, before scoring his first goal in the next game against Cooks Hill. He would start all five games as the Club went on to win the Australia Cup, with Xavier scoring the opener in the semi-final. He scored his first A-League goal in a 2-1 loss to Perth Glory. His second league goal was one to remember, a stunning goal against Sydney FC which won Goal of the Week. His fine form was rewarded with a two-year extension, which will see him through until the conclusion of the 2027/28 season.
