Tara Andrews

The leading goal-scorer for the Newcastle Jets Women’s with 45 goals in 131 appearances, Tara is a Newcastle Jets Legend. The twice-capped Matilda debuted as a 15 year old in 2009, scoring her first goal in her second game, making her one of the youngest goal-scorers in A-League Women’s history. Since retiring from the professional game in 2023, Tara has continued to turn out for New Lambton FC in the Northern NSW NPL whilst completing some coaching courses. Tara returned to the Jets as an assistant coach ahead of the 2025/26 season.
