Scott made his debut in 2023 winning 4-2 on penalties in the Australia Cup play-off against Melbourne Victory after he joined the Jets from Western United. Vice-captain Ryan Scott signed for the Jets in 2023 after four seasons with Western United, where he made 21 appearances. Before entering the professional game, Ryan made over 100 appearances for NPL Vic side Bentleigh Greens, winning a Premiership, three Championships and two Dockerty Cups along the way.
