Biography

Max Burgess signed on for his second stint with the Jets ahead of the 25/26 A-League season. A silky, hard-working midfielder, Burgess first played for the club at the back end of the 14/15 A-League season, making five appearances off of the bench.

Max was awarded the Mark Viduka Medal for his Player of the Match performance in the 2025 Australia Cup Final. He also scored the equaliser after the Jets went down 1-0 early in the game.
