Biography

Joe Shaughnessy recently signed a two-year deal with the club ahead of the 25/26 A-League season. The central defender joined the club from Dundee F.C, where he was the club captain.

Joe’s career started in Aberdeen, where he played over 50 times whilst also experiencing two separate loan spells at Forfar Athletic and Falkirk. From Aberdeen, he moved to St Johnstone, playing over 150 times for the club. A season followed at Southend United, before a three year spell with St Mirren. From there, he made the move to Dundee F.C. Joe has previously represented the Republic of Ireland at U21 level, where he was capped four times.
