Biography
Libby Copus-Brown is a local product that’s comfortable playing in midfield or slightly further up the field. She made her professional debut at 16 years and 6 days old, and has since gone on to make over 100 appearances in the A-League for both Newcastle and Western Sydney Wanderers. Libby also had a stint in her birth country, England, with Lewes F.C in the English Championship.
Libby played for the Jets between 2013 and 2020, before leaving to spend two seasons with the Western Sydney Wanderers. After a season in the U.K, she returned to the Jets ahead of the 2023/24 season. In that season, Libby played a key role in helping the Jets qualify for the Semi-Finals, playing 25 games and scoring 4 goals. Libby started and captained the team in Cass Davis’s absence in the opening fixture of the 25/26 season as they defeated Canberra United 2-1.
