Every player was delighted to get the win yesterday against Adelaide and it was great for Kew Jaliens and Adam Taggart to score their first goals of the season. In victory and defeat, we stand together and we are excited to get back to Hunter Stadium to stand with you against the Roar on Sunday.
The atmosphere you created and the passionate support that was shown against the Central Coast Mariners was amazing and we need you to do the same again next weekend.
The joy of winning a match cannot be described and the elation of victory in front of a home crowd, in my opinion, cannot be matched. We are proud to represent Newcastle and pleased to have got the first of what we hope will be many wins this season.
I see no reason why we can-t be successful on Sunday – it’s time to silence the Roar and to do so we need you all at Hunter Stadium.
