Technology to enhance Match Day Experience

Newcastle Jets Members will enjoy an enhanced match day experience with two new initiatives launched by the Club on Saturday evening when the team takes on the high-flying Melbourne Victory on a new playing surface at Hunter Stadium.

Thanks to major sponsor nib , Jets fans will be able to send good luck messages to the players and share their thoughts on the match via the Hunter Stadium big screen.

A selection of social media messages and fan photos posted on Twitter or Instagram using the Newcastle Jets tag @NewcastleJetsFC and the hashtag #nibJetsFan will be shared on the big screen throughout the match to allow fans to show their support for the team and to increase social media interaction amongst fans at the match.

For a chance to see yourself in your red, blue and gold on the stadium big screen be sure to include #nibJetsFan with your messages and photos on Saturday. 

At half-time and full-time Jets fans will also get a greater insight into the match and how the Jets are performing with updates on key stats from the game.

The Match Stats Update powered by Ryan Ansell Investment Solutions will provide fans with updates including goals, shots, possession and pass accuracy via the stadium big screen and ground announcer.

A Mobile Video Games van will also be set up outside the entrance to the Western Grandstand, with four flat screen televisions and the latest video games including FIFA 15 available for Members and supporters to play before kick-off.

Jets fans both in the stadium and at home can keep up to date with all of the match action in the updated Hyundai A-League Match Centre on the Jets website or via the new Official Newcastle Jets Mobile App available via the iTunes App Store.
