More than 2,500 memberships have been sold in the two days since the membership packages were launched at Ausgrid Stadium.

The Jets have simply been overwhelmed with the response.

“This has been a fantastic 48 hours for the Jets Membership Department,” said Paul Grzanka, Hunter Sports Group General Manager for Consumer Marketing.

“We are thrilled with the response and appreciate the support our fans are showing by signing on as a member.”

Following the redevelopment of the Western grandstand, the Jets membership team have noted this as a popular choice for seating.

“Again we thank our supporters for their patience,” Grzanka added.

Despite the great start, there is plenty of work ahead for the Jets, who hope to reach 10,000 members for the 2011/12 season. So get on board, and join the Newcastle Jets now.
