Newcastle Jets can confirm that the team will travel to Orange in the New South Wales Central West in September to take on the Central Coast Mariners in a Hyundai A-League 2015/16 season trial match.
Central Coast will host the trial fixture at Wade Park on Sunday 20 September with the support of Orange City Council.
Kick-off will be at 3:00pm, with ticket information to be released soon.
Orange City Council Sports & Recreations Committee Chair, Councillor Jason Hamling, hopes the encounter will attract a bumper crowd.
“It is fantastic that top-flight football games are being played in regional centres and it’s great news for the hundreds of local junior players who’ll get to experience a top level game,” Cr Hamling said.
