GENERAL INFORMATION:
Newcastle Jets players are available for a limited number of appearances depending on the time of year requests are made. The majority of our player appearances are community service, school, junior football clubs or hospital visits. During the A-league season, players are accessible subject to playing and training schedules. Please note that players are not available on their scheduled days off.
Appearances are usually not scheduled until after 11am, early afternoon (11am-2pm) and within a 45-minute drive from the Newcastle Jets training facility at the University of Newcastle. Player appearances generally last no more than one hour.

Please read criteria and availability information prior to filling out and submitting a player appearance request.
All requests for player appearances to be in writing and forwarded to Andrew Licata at Andrew@newcastlejets.com.au based on the information below:
CRITERIA:
We are trying to create more programs in community relations that use the player appearances as an incentive/enhancement of the program. Therefore, we adhere to the following criteria.
• Requests must be made at least 4 weeks prior to your event.
• Priority given where there is direct interaction with children
• Clear role for the player in the event (read books, hand out awards)
• No athletic functions with risk of injury (i.e. basketball games, tug of war etc.)
• Maximize player time – large number of children influenced by visit
• Publicity opportunities – the Newcastle Jets may request media presence
AVAILABILITY:
• All player appearances are dependent upon training schedules, which can be subject to change at short notice.
• Players are not available for appearances on the day of a match or the day after a match under any circumstances..
• Please note that it is extremely rare for an appearance to be considered on a day before a match.
• During the off-season (March to May) players are generally not available due to their annual leave/training schedules or non-residence in the Newcastle metropolitan area.
• The club does not provide players to appear at individual events such as private birthday parties and special events.
Many players have jobs/study or commit time to their families on their days off and during the off-season. Player availability is best between mid August and mid February, but keep in mind that the business of football will always remain the Club’s NO.1 priority.
FEES:
All player appearances conducted by Newcastle Jets player personnel are a community service, school or charity related and non-paid appearances.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE NUMBER OF REQUESTS WE RECEIVE IS FAR GREATER THAN THE WE ARE ABLE TO FULFIL. THEREFORE, SUBMITTING A REQUEST DOES NOT GUARANTEE A PLAYER APPEARANCE.
