The Newcastle Jets are delighted to announce that central defender Phillip Cancar has re-signed with the Club for the next two seasons.
Cancar joined the Jets early in 2023 from Scottish side Livingston FC and has made 27 appearances across all competitions for the Club since his arrival.
Cancar is excited to continue his career in Newcastle.
“I’m very happy to re-sign here for a further two seasons. I’m loving my time in Newcastle and I feel that I’m improving every day under Rob and his coaching staff. They have trusted and believed in me and I can’t wait to return to pre-season training.
The Club is heading in the right direction, we can all feel something special here and I’m happy to be a part of it.”
