Noah James Re-Signs

The Newcastle Jets are delighted to announce that goalkeeper Noah James has re-signed for a further two years.

James has been with the Club since he was a 12-year-old and has climbed the ranks into the first team. The goalkeeper made his debut for the Jets in 2020 in a 3-0 win over the Wellington Phoenix.

The 23-year-old Novocastrian is currently playing in the NSW Premier League with Sydney Olympic on loan.

James will return to the Jets following the completion of his loan.

Newcastle Jets Head Coach Rob Stanton said.

“I’m really looking forward to having Noah come back to the Club after his loan spell. He has grown and matured as a footballer in the past six months and he’ll come back to the squad for pre-season a better player. He’s a local, he’s a great character and he’ll be pushing for more minutes this season.”

Noah James is excited to return to the Jets for another two seasons.

“I love this town and this Club. I’m enjoying my time on loan at Sydney Olympic and I’m grateful for the experience there. I’m determined to push myself and be the best player I can be when I return and I’m excited to see what we can achieve as a group.”
