Over the weekend the Australian Professional Leagues (APL) and Sydney FC representatives conducted a site visit at Leichhardt Oval to inspect the playing surface.
The playing surface is deemed to be still unsuitable and requires further recovery before hosting a Ninja A-League Women fixture.
As such, next weekend’s Ninja A-League Women Round 6 fixture between Sydney FC and Newcastle Jets scheduled for Sunday 15 December will be shifted to a doubleheader at Allianz Stadium on Saturday 14 December.
