Newcastle Jets sign Danielle Krzyzaniak

The Newcastle Jets are delighted to sign Canadian goalkeeper Danielle Krzyzaniak for the 2024/25 Liberty A-League season.

Originally from Caledon in Ontario, 27-year-old Krzyzaniak joins the Jets after recently playing in the Czech Republic with AC Sparta Prague. Prior to her time in Prague, Krzyzaniak played in Romania with FC Carmen Bucuresti.

Krzyzaniak is excited for the season ahead at the Jets.

“It’s an honour to represent the Jets for the upcoming season. I’ve always wanted to play in the A-League so I was ecstatic when this opportunity came up.

I’m looking forward to being exposed to a different style of play. I’m hoping I can make a positive impact and help my team succeed. I can’t wait to play alongside my new teammates, and together give our all for the Club. I’m eager to get going.”

Newcastle Jets Head Coach Ryan Campbell said.

“The goalkeeper position is an area that I have spent a lot of my time ensuring we get right with our recruitment. With the style of play we are looking to implement, having someone that fits the profile, both physically and also technically, has been a key focus.

The first time I spoke with Danielle I identified a lot of positive aspects that match the team and Club’s philosophy.

I am looking forward to getting Danielle here and start working with her as part of a very solid goalkeeping department that we now have.”
