Newcastle Jets are delighted to announce the re-signing of talented youngster Josie Morley for the coming A-League season.
Morley came through the Emerging Jets program before making her debut for the club during the 2021-22 A-League season, coming on as a substitute against Canberra United.
Coach Ash Wilson is looking forward to having Josie back for the following A-League season.
“Josie is a promising talent who has good vision and passing range which can unlock defences. She is a technical player who is calm on the ball but who also has a great capacity to get through work. She is a local product who has developed through the Jets academy, and I’m pleased to be able to work with her again in this environment to further support her development.
Josie had her first taste of A-League last year and showed her potential. She works hard and is keen to keep growing and learning from the experience around her. I look forward to what this season can bring for Josie and the contributions she is going to make within the squad.”
Josie is excited be back with the Jets for another season.
“I’m very excited to have re-signed with the Jets this season. I really enjoyed my first season last year and learnt a lot in training and playing alongside the talented and experienced players the team has and I’m extremely grateful to have the opportunity to represent my hometown again and continue learning, pushing myself, and growing to become a better player this season.”
