Newcastle Jets confirm A-League Men departures

Newcastle Jets have confirmed the departure of seven Isuzu UTE A-League players following the conclusion of the 2021/22 Season.

Dylan Murnane, Taylor Regan, Valentino Yuel and Jordan O’Doherty will depart the Club after reaching the end of their contracts, as too will international players Olivier Boumal, Savvas Siatravanis and Mario Arques.

Regan, a former captain of the Jets, moves on after re-joining the Club mid-season. He made 10 appearances this season, amassing 79 in total for the Jets across his career.

Yuel played 47 games since joining in 2020 and scored 10 goals over his two season.

Midfielder O’Doherty joined halfway through the 2020/21 Season and played for the Club on 24 occasions.

Murnane joined at the beginning of the season starting in eight of his 20 appearances, and scoring one goal.

Foreign attackers Boumal and Siatravanis played their first season in Australia, with the former scoring four from his 21 matches, while Siatravanis managed two from 20 outings.

After recovering from injury soon after joining the Club, Spaniard Arques managed to play 14 games for the Jets.

The Club thanks all six players for their contribution and wishes them all the best for the next chapter in their careers.

The club remains in discussions with other members of the playing squad and will provide further updates as they progress.
