Newcastle Jets players Scott Neville and Jacob Pepper took time out with the kids and crew at John Hunter Children’s Hospital on Monday as part of the Club’s ‘Jet Well’ program supported by Slater & Gordon Lawyers.
The duo toured the wards at the John Hunter handing out a variety of Jets goodies to the kids, including caps, soft footballs, activity books, crayons, and more.
But most importantly, Neville and Pepper helped put smiles on the faces of the kids – and their parents! – as they used their star power for good in the community.
“Everyone at the Newcastle Jets is delighted to be part of the ‘Jet Well’ community program supported by Slater and Gordon Lawyers,” Neville said.
“These visits are a great opportunity to take some time out and give something back to our community.
“As a player it gives us a feeling that we can make a difference and hopefully our visits can brighten the day of the children at the hospital,” he said.
