Tough evening at home

Hunter fans were treated with a second consecutive mid-week fixture on Tuesday evening, however results wouldn’t fall our way with both the Jets Men and Women side’s going down at McDonald Jones Stadium.

The girls kicked off the double-header event against Melbourne Victory and although they kept on the heels of the 4th placed side throughout the match, they would eventually go down 1-0.

The men were next and after having their original match against Perth Glory postponed, a late re-scheduling saw the side face Melbourne City at McDonald Jones Stadium. However it wasn’t to be their night, going down in what was veteran Jason Hoffman’s 250th A-Leagues match, 4-2.
