Courtesy of a second-half strike from Angus Thurgate, the Jets grabbed their fourth win of the season against Western Sydney Wanderers at McDonald Jones Stadium on Wednesday night.
It what was a tight affair with few chances on Wednesday evening but the Jets were ultimately able to re-join the winners’ circle, thanks to Brazilian maestro Daniel Penha setting up Angus Thurgate for the eventual winner in the 60th minute.
The Jets will now turn their attention to their second home match in five days, where they will face Macarthur FC this Saturday.
