Round 6 of the A-League features a super-Saturday triple-header, which starts with the Newcastle Jets traveling to AAMI Park to take on Melbourne Heart for the second time this season.

After that fixture the Mariner-s host Melbourne Victory, and Sydney travel west to take on the Glory in the late game.

Those fixtures are book-ended by the Adelaide v Gold Coast clash on Friday night and Brisbane looking to extend their unbeaten run to 34 games when they host Wellington on Sunday.

The Jets opponents Melbourne Heart have probably been the team that has received the least amount of luck in the opening five rounds, and this game promises to be the toughest of the campaign so far.

The Jets have some injury concerns with Ruben Zadkovich and Matt Nash out and Ben Kantarovski and Tiago Calvano in some doubt.

The side will be looking to pick up their first points on the road this season, an area that needs to be rectified, to support strong showings at Ausgrid Stadium to this stage.

Elsewhere Gold Coast have relinquished home ground advantage to Adelaide, in the bid to draw a good gate. Melbourne Victory need to back up from their heroic but physically draining efforts last week. Perth v Sydney will be a very tight and torrid affair and Brisbane should be too strong at Suncorp for an injury and suspension stretched Wellington Phoenix.
