Gary is Head Coach of the championship winning A-League team and daughter Emily is one of the bright young stars in the Jets W-League squad.
The Jets W-league start is the latest in what promises to be an exciting career for the young star. Emily also is the female Marquee Player for Northern NSW Football, who along with Jet-s Ben Kantarovski as Male Marquee, have been selected to represent the face of junior football across Northern NSW.
Emily is looking forward to the new national women-s competition kicking of on October 25 and is confident of the Jets chances.
‘It will be great for our game not only nationally but also at a local level as well. I-m sure the Newcastle football community, particularly the girls will get behind us and I-d like to think that we can emulate the success of the Jet-s A-league squad, if not in year one, sooner rather than later,- she said.
